“Distraction-Free Focus”

Presented by Donna Bayless and Sharon Winter of RightLane

Register ASAP but no later than Friday 22, 2017 by responding to jimjohnson1949@att.net

DISTRACTION-FREE FOCUS CAN

LEAD TO EXTRAORDINARY RESULTS

Productivity isn’t about the number of things on your to do list. It’s about getting the most out of what you do, because what you do is important. It matters. ‘Busy’ness is keeping us from business. Distractions are eating up to 30% of our day. Multitasking is the only way we can get our job done, right?

Then it starts all over the next day. We are stressed. What if multitasking is a lie? What if our brain’s design prevents us from doing two thinking tasks at onetime? What if the personal technology we have come to depend on is slowing us down?

In this interactive presentation, you will learn how our compulsion for connection is causing stress lowering our IQ and making us less productive. And how distraction-free focus can lead to extraordinary results. You will leave with a renewed energy, along with methods to manage the constant bombardment of notifications and expectations. You will embrace what technology can do for you while recognizing what it does to you– professionally and personally. And you might have some fun along the way.

Messaging Keys to Making Big Money Doing What You Love”

Presented by: Sharon Hibbard, CEO and Message-to-Money Mentor of CompellingContentCreation.com

Whether you are an entrepreneur or a corporate professional, if you want to be more influential and make a greater impact through all forms of communication both online and off, this presentation is for you.

We all have challenges by which we feel limited, and we have outcomes that we want that are waiting just on the other side of those challenges. Messaging – an enhanced form of communication –  is the bridge that leads you beyond your toughest struggles, challenges and limits, and delivers you to the outcomes you desire.

If you can message it, you can move beyond it. If you can message it, you can achieve it.  Is the team you supervise not responding to direction? What gets you past that is messaging. Is the product or service you offer to the marketplace not landing? Messaging can help you get beyond that too.

“The magic is in your message… and so is the money!”

Three learning goals for presentation (what will participants walk away with?)

  1. Learn how to create connection and build rapport with your audience, establish your authority and credibility, and elevate your audience’s level of trust in you, regardless of the media you select to deliver your message, by using the “essential elements of engagement.”
  2.   Discover the critical keys to making your messages “magnetic,” and use the power of your message to lead, to motivate and inspire others, to facilitate change, to make more sales, to make a greater difference… and to overcome almost any obstacle to achieve your desired outcome.
  3. Understand how to infuse your message into the most appropriate media to reach your intended audience – whether that means conducting powerful presentations and talks, creating compelling copy and content for educating and marketing both online and off, or even simply using your messaging to become more influential in your networking and everyday conversations – both professional and personal!

GOTTA KNOW KNOXVILLE – ETMP STYLE

Tuesday, April 25 2017

 What is Gotta Know Knoxville?

Gotta Know Knoxville (GKK) is a program put on by Visit Knoxville and takes place once a month, from 12:00 pm-5:00 pm, for those who are interested in knowing more about Knoxville! The goal is that participants then share their knowledge with visitors they meet that may have little to no knowledge of Knoxville, as well as locals who may not realize all their hometown has to offer! So be a tourist in your own hometown for a few hours!

GKK begins with an informative classroom presentation (lunch included), a walking tour with stops into some local businesses, and a bus tour of a few of Knoxville’s attractions. This is a fun way to learn more about your city and become an Ambassador for Knoxville!

We will meet at the Visit Knoxville building located at 301 S. Gay Street (Knoxville Visitor Center). Upon arrival, please go to the guest services desk and they will direct you to the location of the class. You may arrive as early as 11:00 am for networking, and our class will begin promptly at noon.

Please remember:

  • Casual clothing is fine, and comfortable shoes are suggested, as we will be walking around parts of downtown Knoxville for approximately 2 hours
  • The class will take place “rain or shine”!!

Limited Space is available so please register as early as possible. This meeting is longer than any of our other meetings but it is well worth taking the time to really learn about our great city with friends and colleagues. Your guests are welcome.

“Making Progress on Things that Matter”

Presented by David Horsewood, owner and principal speaker/trainer with Fire by Light LLC

“Making Progress on Things that Matter”

There’s nothing magical about goals or goal-setting. That said, making progress on things that matter feels incredible. Not making progress is suffocating. Is there something you’ve been wanting to accomplish, perhaps even for years, and not made any significant progress? A day turns into a week; a week turns into a few months, and now it’s been years. How did that happen? It doesn’t matter. By attending this presentation, you can begin to make more progress in a few days than you’ve made in years.
