1:30 PM Travel to the Oak Ridge Marina, home of rowing in Oak Ridge. The Oak Ridge Rowing Association is offering ETMP the opportunity to learn-to-row. Rowing has often been called the “Ultimate Team Sport” and there is no better analogy to business than rowing. No timeouts, no bench, all team members actions linked to each other and the fact that the team is only as good as its weakest link. Under the guidance of experienced coaches and rowers, you’ll learn the basics of the sport and then take to the water for some friendly competition.(please bring suitable clothing: shorts, t-shirt, shoes that can get wet)
4:00 PM We’ll travel to the American Museum of Science and Energy (AMSE) to enjoy the many permanent exhibits as well as this summer’s special exhibit, Snoopy, the WW I Flying Ace.
5:00 PM Reception at AMSE
