Meet Fitzgerald Heslop

Fitzgerald Heslop, Program Director and Lead Instructor for Peak Technical Institute’s Professional Household Management and Social Decorum Academy program, is known for his remarkable knowledge and skill for tasteful presentation in professional and social situations.

This seasoned services professional brings with him an extensive background. Prior to coming to PTI, Heslop held honored positions including personal assistant to numerous CEOs and vice presidents of major U.S. corporations.

His passion for decorum comes from his experience as the Head Concierge at the Hilton Hartford Hotel many years ago. Heslop was a key contributor to the reopening of the 398-room luxury hotel during which he oversaw all aspects of hotel concierge services operations. In addition, he also participated in daily hotel VIP/Distinguished Visitor (DV) meetings with senior management to maximize hotel income through effective customer-service revenue-producing practices and also served on various boards representing the Hilton Hartford Hotel.

Before becoming an esteemed “Ambassador of Service,” Heslop received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Administration from Fisk University. He went on to earn his Pre-MBA Summer Business Institute Certificate from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management and became certified by the Protocol School of Washington Dubai, UAE in corporate etiquette, business dining and international protocol.

Heslop also received the honor of being a Charles Rangel International Affairs Scholar at Howard University in 2003. As Program Director and Lead Instructor of PTI’s Social Decorum Academy (SDA), Heslop provides participants with the necessary skill set and knowledge in business etiquette, international protocol, dining proficiency and leadership skills. The program is designed for professionals, executives and dignitaries who desire to distinguish themselves from the competition through a higher level of business and social etiquette intelligence.
