Rob Clifton, CMP
Director of Global Accounts / Team Director
Rob Clifton is a 40-year industry veteran, having spent his travel and hospitality career with such distinguished companies as National Car Rental, Hyatt Hotels, Opryland USA and American Express Company. Rob joined Conference Direct in September 2004.
As a Director of Global Accounts for ConferenceDirect, Rob is heavily involved with his clients’ meeting needs in all aspects; from site selection, contract negotiations with hotels and other vendors and is involved with on-site meeting management. In addition, he provides overall solutions to his clients on cost-saving measures for all of their meeting needs.
He earned his Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in March 2006. He is active in the professional community with organizations such as TN Society of Association Executives (TNSAE), Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and Religious Conference Management Association (RCMA).
